How do I use the hanging car fragrance?
Before the first use, unscrew the wooden cap, remove the plastic transport stopper and screw the wooden cap back on. Then turn the bottle upside down for one second so the fragrance oil soaks into the wood, and hang it on the rear-view mirror. The scent comes from the wooden cap as the oil evaporates. Do not keep it upside down for longer: the oil may leak and damage leather or plastic.
How long does the car fragrance last?
The 7.5 ml hanging fragrance usually lasts 1–2 months. It depends on the temperature and airflow in the car, so in summer the scent evaporates faster. When the scent gets weaker, turn the bottle upside down for a second again. Our fragrances contain no alcohol, so they evaporate more slowly and last longer than the volume suggests.
How does the car vent fragrance work?
The set includes a metal holder with a wood finish, 10 ml of fragrance oil and three unscented sticks. Clip the holder onto the air vent, open the magnetic part, insert a stick and add a few drops of oil. When the scent gets weaker, add a few more drops. The spare sticks let you change the scent: all you need is a new stick and a different oil, the holder stays the same.
Is a car fragrance a good gift for a man?
Yes, it is one of the most common reasons our car fragrances are bought before the holidays. People choose them both as a gift on their own and as a small addition to a bigger present. If you are not sure which scent to choose, you can give a gift card: the recipient chooses the scent, and the card is valid for 3 months.
How much does delivery cost?
We deliver to a DPD parcel locker for €3.00 or by DPD courier to your door for €3.99, within 2–3 working days. Delivery to a parcel locker is free for orders over €39, and courier delivery is free from €59.
Can I return an item?
Yes, you can return an item within 14 calendar days of receiving it without giving a reason. It must be unused, undamaged and in its original packaging. Write to us at info@tahiti.lt, include your order number, and we will send you the return address. We refund the money within 14 days of receiving the item. Where are Tahiti Scents fragrances made?
We make all our fragrances ourselves in Kaunas, Lithuania, and have been doing so for five years. Each one is mixed by hand in small batches, so the scent is fresh and carefully balanced.
